MY STATIONS AS A DRUMMER
At the age of 15 I discovered my passion for playing the drums. One day I sat down behind the drums of a friend of mine and, to my surprise, simple rhythms already worked. By just watching a variety of live performances by the most famous cover bands of the time, I had apparently already learned a lot. After five years as an autodidact and five years of private lessons, I completed the Professional Program at the Future Music School in Aschaffenburg in 2011 (in just one year).
Regular weekend visits to the music center in Trockau brought me into contact with the then very large cover scene and it quickly became clear to me that I also wanted to play in a band that regularly played weekends in the dance halls of Franconia and at folk festivals throughout Bavaria. Well, one band eventually became a few: Homelesz, Sickness, Crossfire were some of the stops in my musical life, where I set the pace in the years 1998 - 2016. I was also a member of the legendary Gräimfättgang, the live band of dialect hip-hoppers Segam and Andi B. (awarded the culture prize of the upper palatinate).
Over the years I had regularly recorded videos of live performances. The purpose at that time was actually intended as a way to improve one's musical ability. Some recordings have now been published on YouTube.
Since mid-2022 I've been releasing drum cover videos regularly. Live performances may follow in the foreseeable future.
